"Tactilism" and why it should be important to you
In my days at art school I made up my own art movement. I briefly researched to see if it was something that someone else had already discovered or done. It had been done- but fleetingly back in the 1900’s and it was 2010- so the world was ready ( I assumed) for an update on Tactilism. My version of Tactilism is about the necessity of process through material, it is all about getting dirt under nails, paint splattered on skin, feeling the texture of textiles or the click of t
